<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanning device capable of reducing axis tilt when an optical deflector is assembled to an optical box, without having an adjusting function of the axis tilt. <P>SOLUTION: An optical box 113 is provided with a boss 136 for restricting the movement of a circuit substrate 126 in a rotating direction of a screw which is screwed first, around a screw hole 133a which is screwed first when the circuit substrate 126 is fixed to the optical box 113.
