<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve many problems, such as packet errors, discontinuous SN, instantaneous interruption and the like, in the case that a TDM signal is packetized and transmitted in a conventional art. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission device emulating a TDM line in a packet network, is configured by: a packet assembling part receiving and packetizing a TDM signal from the TDM line; a packet transmitting part transmitting the packet outputted from the packet assembling part to the packet network; a packet receiving part receiving the packet from the packet network; and a packet disassembling part converting the packet received by the packet receiving part into the TDM signal, and transmitting the TDM signal to the TDM line. When detecting an error or discontinuity of a packet received by the packet receiving part from the packet network, the packet disassembling part generates the TDM signal by using dummy data of continuous zeros, and transmits the TDM signal from a TDM line transmitting part to a low-order device connected via the TDM line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
