<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified flavin adenine-dependent glucose dehydrogenase improved in stability by overcoming defects of a known flavin adenine-dependent glucose dehydrogenase. <P>SOLUTION: The modified FADGDH improved in stability is obtained by substituting an amino acid sequence in FADGDH with another amino acid by protein engineering method. A protein in which an amino acid at a position 339 in a specific amino acid sequence is substituted with another amino acid is provided. Alternatively, in the amino acid sequence having an amino acid sequence having ≥60% homology with at least either one of specific sequences and encoding a protein having glucose dehydrogenase activity, a protein in which the amino acid at the position 339 in the specific sequence is substituted with another amino acid is also provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
