<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-cylinder hydraulic shock absorber in which gas is prevented from being mixed into the inside of a cylinder even when used horizontally for a long time. <P>SOLUTION: A multi-cylinder hydraulic shock absorber D includes a cylinder 1, a piston 2 slidably inserted to the cylinder 1 to divide the inside of the cylinder 1 into a rod side chamber R and a piston side chamber P, a rod 3 movably inserted to the cylinder 1 and connected to the piston 2, an external cylinder 4 covering the cylinder 1 and forming a reservoir H between the external cylinder 4 and the cylinder 1, and a bladder 5 fixed to the outer circumference of the cylinder 1 or the inner circumference of the external cylinder 4 to partition the inside of the reservoir H into a gas chamber G and a liquid chamber L, in which the liquid chamber L and the piston side chamber P are put in communication with each other at one end of the cylinder 1. The liquid chamber L and the piston side chamber P are put in communication with each other with an annular partition member 6 interposed between the liquid chamber L and the piston side chamber P and one or a plurality of notches 6a arranged in a range W within a semicircle of the partition member 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
