PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and visually check the presence or absence of damage.

SOLUTION: A high-voltage cutout 1 comprises: the porcelain container 2; an electric member arranged in the porcelain container 2; and a coating material 3 applied on a surface of the container 2. A discoloring material 4 that is discolored by being exposed to ambient air when the coating material 3 is damaged is provided between the container 2 and the coating material 3. The high-voltage cutout 1 is easily and visually checked whether being damaged or not because the discoloring material 4 is discolored when the coating material 3 is damaged.
