<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium (card) processing device capable of reliably conveying a recording medium while reliably correcting the posture of the recording medium during conveyance. <P>SOLUTION: The medium processing device including a recording device for printing and recording information on a surface side or a back side of a recording medium C1 includes a first roller pair 29 for holding the recording medium C1 on the upstream side of the conveying direction in a medium conveying path P1 for conveying the recording medium C1 to the recording device side, a second roller pair 30 for holding the recording medium C1 on the downstream side in the medium conveying path P1, and skew correction means 100, 101 which are disposed between the first roller pair 29 and the second roller pair 30 to correct the skew state of the recording medium C1 in the medium conveying path P1.
