<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device that has a long interval between a plurality of light emitting portions and can be applied to a projector whose light emitting device is disposed just below a light valve. <P>SOLUTION: In a light emitting device 100, a first region 160 is connected to a second region 162 at first reflection portions 181 and 183, the first region 160 is connected to a third region 164 at second reflection portions 182 and 185, the second region 162 and the third region 164 are connected to a side surface 131 of a first layer 106 serving as an emitting surface, the first region 160 is arranged such that the first region 160 is longitudinally parallel to the emitting surface 131, the second region 162 and the third region 164 are obliquely connected to the first surface 131 at the same inclination, a distance between at least one of the first region 160, the second region 162 and the third region 164, and a fourth region 166 is a distance causing evanescent coupling, and the fourth region 166 constitutes a resonator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
