<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable textile printing having high image quality while keeping feeling of fluff by preventing ink from forming lumps to be attached to tips of the fluff of a material to be printed. <P>SOLUTION: An inkjet printing apparatus comprises: a first printing head provided with an ink nozzle array for ejecting ink containing color materials; a second printing head provided with a clear liquid nozzle array for ejecting a clear liquid containing no color materials and having better wettability for a material to be printed than the ink; and a control section for controlling the ejection of the ink and the clear liquid. The control section is provided with a print-executing mode for ejecting one of the ink or the clear liquid and then ejecting the other so as to overlap with the one, while the printing head is moving relatively in one direction above a predetermined region of the material to be printed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
