<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow reduction of concentration detection accuracy of a toner image to be suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: When abnormality is found on a transfer belt, formation positions of a toner pattern and a position detection pattern are changed so that the toner pattern and the position detection pattern used for concentration detection and position detection are formed at the positions avoiding an abnormal region causing reduction in accuracy of the concentration detection and the position detection on the transfer belt. Further, in an image forming apparatus, light emission part information on a light emission object serving as a combination of light emission parts E which light up at the detection time is changed so that the positions through which the position detection pattern and the toner pattern with their respective positions changed pass become positions to which spots by detection light from a main light-emitting part newly specified are irradiated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
