<p>The invention relates to a flux-cored wire including a casing made of C-Mn steel and a filling flux containing at least 95 wt % of metal powders and/or agglomerates, said flux being 8 to 25 wt % of the wire. The flux-cored wire includes, relative to the total weight of the wire, 8 to 17 wt % of Ni, 0.05 to 0.35 wt % of Si, 0.3 to 0.85 wt % of Mn, 0.001 to 0.055 wt % of C, less than 450 ppm of oxygen, and less than 0.5 wt % of fluorine and iron, and said wire is totally free of CaF2. The invention also relates to a welding method, selected from among the TIG arc, FCAW arc, plasma, or hybrid laser/FCAW arc welding methods, in which the melting of a flux-cored wire according to the invention is carried out.</p> |
