<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform alignment in a circumferential direction between a lip part of a seal and a screw shaft in mounting a contact seal to an axial end of a nut of a ball screw. <P>SOLUTION: By fixing a seal cap 5 with a seal 4 fixed thereto to a mounting part 12 of a nut 1, the seal 4 is mounted to the nut 1. Three flat parts 13 are formed at different positions in a circumferential direction of an outer peripheral surface of the mounting part 12. The seal cap 5 includes an annular part 51 externally fitted to the mounting part 12, and an inward flange part 52. Three penetration screw holes (through-holes) 51a are formed on the annular part 51 at positions identical to those of the three flat parts 13. The annular part 51 of the seal cap 5 is externally fitted to the mounting part 12 of the nut 1, and small screws 7 are screwed by adjusting the penetration screw holes 51a to the flat parts 13, whereby the seal 4 is mounted to the nut 1, and alignment in the circumferential direction between a lip part 41 of the seal 4 and the screw shaft 2 is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
