<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop a supply of gas with a shut-off valve by detecting a control error state of a gas control valve in a gas valve system. <P>SOLUTION: The gas valve system has a control device, a control valve, and a shut-off valve and the control valve is a stepping motor valve having a control element and a stepping motor. The error state of the control valve occurs if the stepping motor is blocked within a normal control range of the control valve or if there exists an actual position value error. Such an actual position value error exists if the control element is in a reference position (Pos<SB POS="POST">reference</SB>): when the reference position is reached, the stepping motor is blocked in an actual position value (W<SB POS="POST">actual</SB>) deviating from a position reference value (W<SB POS="POST">reference</SB>) more than a permitted value prfedetermined in advance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
