<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stroboscopic device capable of emitting light having stable brightness. <P>SOLUTION: In a stroboscopic device 1 including a bar-like flash discharge tube 2 and a reflector 3 reflecting the light from the flash discharge tube 2 and configured so that a trigger voltage is applied to the reflector 3, to allow the flash discharge tube 2 to emit the light, a conductive contact part 40 coming into contact with at least one of the flash discharge tube 2 and the reflector 3 is provided in at least the other of the flash discharge tube 2 and the reflector 3.
