PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a firewall device by which a load can be distributed to a plurality of devices efficiently.

SOLUTION: A firewall device has: a measurement unit 122 measuring a traffic amount of transfer data transferred between a first network and a second network for each session to calculate a traffic observed value; a predicted traffic amount calculation unit 123 calculating a predicted traffic amount for each session based on the traffic observed value; a free traffic amount management unit 131 managing a free traffic amount of the firewall device; a transmission determination unit 121 comparing the predicted traffic amount with the free traffic amount to determine whether or not the transfer data can be transmitted; a selection unit 132 selecting a transfer destination firewall in the case that the transfer data cannot be transmitted as a result of the determination; and a transfer unit 103 performing redirect-transfer of the transfer data to the selected transfer destination firewall.
