<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus in which vertical installation and horizontal installation are freely selected and which is capable of accurately feeding a sheet when recording an image. <P>SOLUTION: The recording apparatus, in which vertical installation, in which a feed position of a sheet P is a vertically upright position when recording an image, and horizontal installation, in which the feed position is changed to a horizontally laid position, can be freely selected, includes: a feeding roller 42 that feeds the sheet P by a predetermined feed amount along a feed route R; a printing unit 3 that records an image on the sheet P being fed in synchronization with driving of the feeding roller 42; a position detecting mechanism 6 that detects whether the installation position is vertical installation or horizontal installation; and a feed amount correcting unit that corrects the feed amount depending on the detection result of the position detecting mechanism 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
