<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shelf bracket device in which two kinds of shelf boards with different thicknesses can be mounted by merely vertically inverting shelf board supporting members. <P>SOLUTION: The shelf bracket device includes: a mounting base board mounted on a wall face or a board having a horizontal shelf board holding piece; and a shelf board supporting member is formed of a horizontal piece and a vertical piece for receiving a shelf board; wherein the mounting base board is fastened/fixed on the wall face or board with mounting screws. In the device, the position of the horizontal piece of the shelf board supporting member is displaced from the vertical center position of the vertical piece, and the shelf board supporting member is vertically inverted.
