<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cord for cutting grass with reduced roundness in the cross section. <P>SOLUTION: The cross section of the cord 10 for cutting grass is circular. The diameter of the cord 10 is preferably 1.6-3 mm, and can be set according to the application. The roundness of the cross section of the cord 10 is preferably 0.55 mm or lower.
