PURPOSE: A boring machine is provided to improve boring accuracy by efficiently determining the position of the axis center of a drill. CONSTITUTION: A boring machine comprises a spindle motor(20), a housing, a moving unit, and an opening and closing unit. The spindle motor has a collet chuck and rotates a drill. The housing supports the spindle motor to be movable in the axial direction of the drill. The moving unit moves the spindle motor in the axial direction of the drill. The opening and closing unit opens and closes the collet chuck. |
