<p>An optical connector (11) according to the present invention is provided with a crimping sleeve (21) having a sandwiching flange portion (55) opposite a rear wall inner surface (59), which is connected consecutively with a tube portion (53) through which an optical fiber (15) is inserted, the tube portion being inserted through a sleeve through-hole (51) that is formed at a rear wall (49) of a housing (17), a crimping ring (29), and a boot (23) having a locking flange (65) which is consecutively connected with a protection portion (61) for covering the outer periphery of an optical fiber cable (13) and the crimping ring (29). A boot locking protrusion (27) formed at the sandwiching flange portion (55) is inserted into a protrusion locking hole (25) formed in the locking flange (65).</p> |
