<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate accurate charging time in consideration of a deterioration of a battery. <P>SOLUTION: Charging time in the case of performing charging by using a maximum charging current is calculated from charging characteristics (102). An actual charging current is measured; a correction coefficient is read out; and the charging time is displayed by being predicted through the use of the measured charging current value and the correction coefficient (104, 106).
