<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable addition, deletion, and replacement of only a difference in image, voice, auxiliary data while generating a material by the same operation as operation for normal editing. <P>SOLUTION: According to the embodiment, a video server device is provided with table generating means, acquisition means, and control means. In recording the material data, the table generating means generates a management table associating a material ID for identifying the material data with the material data, and stores the management table in a storage part. When a request for change in the material data occurs, the acquisition means acquires material management information including information on the material ID, a change start position, and a change end position of a change target, from the source of the request for change. The control means refers to the management table on the basis of the material ID included in the material management information acquired by the acquisition means, changes on the basis of the result of the reference the material data recorded in the storage part, and thereafter updates the material data corresponding to the concerned material ID in the management table. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
