<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus equipped with a shrinkable transmission path in which the shrinkable transmission path is not caused to be displaced at a fixing part by contraction/expansion and bending which occur at a portion where the shrinkable transmission path is used, and the shrinkable transmission path is hard to be disconnected. <P>SOLUTION: In the apparatus in which a shrinkable transmission path is fixed by a fixing bracket, the fixing bracket has a fixing surface whose cross section is circular, and the shrinkable transmission path contacts to the fixing surface by 50% or more in circumferential direction and by L/5(mm) or more in length direction (where, L(mm) is outside diameter when the shrinkable transmission path is relaxed), with an apparent cross section (S(mm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>)) at the fixing part of the shrinkable transmission path being in the range represented by the following formula.
