<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector which can provide stable assembling operation in which sagging and bias do not occur in a tensile strength body of an optical cord and suppress the projection of an optical fiber core even if a coat of the optical cord shrinks. <P>SOLUTION: An optical connector for attaching an optical cord 11 having a tensile strength body includes a temporarily fixing member 30 fitted into a rear part of a housing 20 to be engaged with the rear part of the housing 20, intervening the tensile strength body therebetween, and a fixing member 13 having a clearance as thick as a coat 15 of the optical cord 11 at the outer circumference of the temporarily fixing member 30 to be fixed to the rear part of the housing 20 so as to cover the temporarily fixing member 30 and for fixing the tensile strength body integrally with the housing 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
