<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the circuit area of a comparator circuit. <P>SOLUTION: First and second resistor strings divide a predetermined voltage range to generate a plurality of first reference voltages and a plurality of second reference voltages, respectively. First and second switch control circuits select a predetermined one from the plurality of first reference voltages and a predetermined one from the plurality of second reference voltages, respectively. The comparator circuit compares a resultant current of transistor currents depending on the selected first and second reference voltages with a transistor current depending on an input signal, and generates a logic signal representing a logic value. The first switch control circuit sequentially switches the selected first reference voltage to specify two adjacent first reference voltages where the logic value is inverted, and determines to select one therefrom. Subsequently, the second switch control circuit sequentially switches the selected second reference voltage to specify two adjacent second reference voltages where the logic value is inverted, and determines to select one from the specified second reference voltages. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
