The invention relates to a device comprising: a positioning shim (2) inserted between the foot of the rail and a shoulder formed by the rail support; a slightly flexible, curved metal plate; a supporting part (3) for supporting the metal plate, forming an upper face for receiving the metal plate; and a lag screw. According to the invention, the aforementioned supporting part (3) is different from the positioning shim (2), is made from a rigid material and can withstand tightening of the lag screw that exceeds a tightening torque of the order of 22.5 m.kg, said supporting part having at least one external side face (22a) bearing against the shoulder. The upper face (25) of the supporting part (3) is formed by a large, curved upper wall, the curvature thereof corresponding to that of the metal plate after tightening, such that, after tightening, the metal plate comes into contact with the upper face by means of a large surface. |
