The present invention makes it possible to store and accumulate images in a wide range of areas and use the images afterward according to the characteristics of the images by a small number of image capturing devices (10) similarly to a monitoring system in which a large number of cameras are fixedly installed in the streets. An image capturing device (10) provided in a mobile object (1) acquires additional information that characterizes an image captured by an image capturing means, transmits the additional information to an image management device (20), when an image request is made by the image management device (20), captures an image by the image capturing means, and transmits the captured image to the image management device (20). The image management device (20) associates, stores, and accumulates received additional information and images, and upon receiving, from a terminal device (50), an instruction including a designation made by additional information, transmits an image corresponding thereto to the terminal device (50) and makes the image viewable. |
