<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve determination accuracy by accurately detecting ethyl alcohol in blood through an infrared ray emitted from a subject without being affected by body temperature of the subject. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging control section 38 respectively detects: a received light amount Vd1 of a first wavelength band including an absorption wavelength λ1 of ethyl alcohol through infrared light emitted from a subject 18; a received light amount Vd2 of a second wavelength band including a wavelength λ2 with a small absorption rate by the ethyl alcohol near the first wavelength band; and a received light amount Vd3 of a third wavelength band including the wavelength λ3 with the small absorption rate by the ethyl alcohol near the first wavelength band. An ethyl alcohol detection section 40 calculates an alcohol content as a difference ΔVd between the received light amounts Vd1 and Vd2. A temperature detection section 42 calculates temperature of the subject from the received light amounts Vd2 and Vd3. A determination section determines whether or not the subject is under influence of alcohol by conducting a temperature correction of the ethyl alcohol content with the detected temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
