<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an alcoholic beverage having a sufficiently low indole concentration. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing an alcoholic beverage includes a fermentation step of fermenting a raw material for an alcoholic beverage with a yeast in the presence of at least one kind of substances belonging to vitamin B family.
