<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a polysulfone pellet capable of preventing a failure caused by gas generated in an extruder and capable of improving productivity. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the polysulfone pellet, by using a vent-type twin-screw extruder 10, polysulfone is melded and extruded, and strands to be formed are cut to manufacturing the pellet. As the twin-screw extruder 10, a cylinder includes a supply part 4 supplying at least polysulfone and one or more vent parts 5 discharging volatile components generated in the cylinder. A screw 3 includes one or more kneading parts 8 arranged between the supply part 4 and the vent parts 5 in the cylinder. Out of the kneading parts arranged at the upstream side of the vent part 51 on the most upstream side, the kneading part 81 in a position closest to the vent part on the most upstream side has a screw configuration which does not use a reverse kneading disc. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
