<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a code reader which can reduce erroneous detection of a code and recognize a code more accurately. <P>SOLUTION: A code reader 1000 includes an image acquisition unit 10, a position detection pattern detection unit 20, and a position detection pattern replacement unit 30. The image acquisition unit 10 acquires image data obtained by imaging a bar code 500. The position detection pattern detection unit 20 detects the position and size of a position detection pattern based on image data vd acquired by the image acquisition unit 10. The position detection pattern replacement unit 30 replaces a position detection pattern in the image data vd with a reference pattern that is a position detection pattern with a predetermined contrast ratio or more, based on the position and size of a position detection pattern detected by the position detection pattern detection unit 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
