<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of easily producing a timing signal for writing pixel data into pixels within a driver IC. <P>SOLUTION: In an active matrix type display device, image data DR, DG, DB are contained in serial data SI and supplied to a display driver by serial transmission. A flag D0 indicating whether or not the image data is written into pixels is added to the serial data SI, and the display driver produces a timing signal SSP of a horizontal period of a data signal line driver 23 by using timing of a serial clock SCLK. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
