The vehicle comprises a cooling module (2) which is fixed to at least two connection points on the vehicle chassis (1) by a locking mechanism (4) having a locking element (4.1). The locking element is flat in shape and it extends over the width of the cooling module. The locking element of the locking mechanism opens automatically by a predetermined pressure which is generated during the deformation of a bending cross-beam (3) in the frontal collision direction of vehicle.
