The present invention pertains to a lamination device that has: a cylindrical conveyance drum that holds, rotates, and conveys a separator having a predetermined shape at the outer peripheral surface thereof; and an electrode conveyance unit that conveys a positive electrode having a predetermined shape in a direction tangential to the conveyance drum in a manner so as to overlap the separator. Corresponding to the outer peripheral surface of the conveyance drum, a suction-attachment region that sucks/attaches the separator and that is non-rotationally positioned on the upstream side in the direction of rotation of the conveyance drum from the site at which the positive electrode is introduced, and a non-suction-attachment region that causes the separation of the separator and that is non-rotationally positioned at the downstream side in the direction of rotation from the site at which the positive electrode is introduced are defined, the outer peripheral surface conveys a separator suction attached to the suction-attachment region to the non-suction-attachment region by means of the rotation of the outer peripheral surface, the separator is separated from the outer peripheral surface and the positive electrode is delivered, and so the positive electrode and the separator are successively laminated from the downstream side in the direction of rotation. By means of such a lamination device, it is possible to shorten battery production time.
