<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve rising responsibility at the starting of a brushless motor. <P>SOLUTION: When a stop instruction of a motor is communicated to a control unit (S121), whether or not this stop instruction is a normal stop instruction is determined at a step S122. In the case of a normal stop instruction, a normal stop control is executed at a step S125. In the normal stop control, a target motor rotation number is gradually reduced from a value at the communication of the stop instruction to gradually reduce an actual rotation number N of the motor while continuing the rotation number control. At a step S126, the actual rotation number N of the motor is compared with a predetermined rotation number Ns (for example, a value around zero rpm) to determine whether or not N is equal to or less than Ns. At a time point when N becomes equal to or less than Ns, a control flow progresses to a step S127 to perform rotor positioning processing.
