<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a use side unit of a refrigeration apparatus which is free from dew splashing outside the unit during defrost operation. <P>SOLUTION: The use side unit 1 of a refrigeration apparatus includes a unit casing 1A having an air inlet 25 and an air outlet 26, a ventilation path 27 which is formed in the unit casing 1A and communicates the air inlet 25 with the air outlet 26, a use side heat exchanger 2 of a refrigerant circuit for partitioning the ventilation path 27 to allow free ventilation, a sirocco fan 3 disposed on the upstream side of the ventilation path 27, and a drain pan 5 disposed on the downstream side of the ventilation path 27, and performs defrost operation of a use side heat exchanger 2.
