<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail bracket such that a distance can be easily and accurately measured based upon an arrangement position of an end face of a handrail when an end of the handrail is stored in a storage part. <P>SOLUTION: The handrail bracket includes storage parts 31 recessed in ends of a handrail holding part 3a, 3b; and a locking hole 32 as a measurement base point part serving as a base point for measuring a distance from the handrail end face arrangement position, on approximately the same position as the handrail end face arrangement position where the end face of the end of the handrail is arranged when the end of the handrail is stored in the storage parts 31.
