PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication device and a power saving control method capable of suppressing the power consumption effectively.

SOLUTION: A wireless communication device comprises: an application processor (2) executing an application for processing input information supplied from a user interface depending on user's operation; and a communication processor (1) performing the processing related to the user interface to substitute for the application processor (2) in a state that the application processor (2) halts.
