<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purification method of 2-cyanoacrylate improved in coloration and also in coloration progress after purification, by adding a specific aromatic polyvalent hydroxy compound to already colored 2-cyanoacrylate and, after time lapse of 0.5 day or more, performing vacuum distillation at 0-40°C. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided purified 2-cyanoacrylate of a ≤40 Hazen color number by adding to crude 2-cyanoacrylate at least one aromatic polyvalent hydroxy compound selected from the group consisting of a compound represented by formula (1) and resorcin, and, after time lapse of 0.5 day or more, cutting 5-40 wt.% low boiling portion and 10-30 wt.% high boiling portion by vacuum distillation at 0-40°C (wherein, each R represents independently H, carboxy, alkoxycarbonyl or alkoxyalkyloxycarbonyl; and m is an integer of 3-5, n is an integer of 1-3 and m+n=6). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
