<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a character reacting to a level along which voice sung by a singer goes with respect to a standard at which the singer should sing. <P>SOLUTION: In a karaoke device, a character D having various expressions in accordance with evaluation results of singing voice is displayed. For example, a character D1 having an expression representing a feeling of a "normal level" is displayed as a result that singing voice in an evaluation section X1 is evaluated as a "normal level". A character D2 having an expression representing a feeling of a "bad level" is displayed as a result that singing voice in an evaluation section X2 is evaluated as a "bad level". Further, a character D3 having an expression representing a feeling of a "good level" is displayed as a result that singing voice in an evaluation section X3 is evaluated as a "good level".
