<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device which can properly switch operation modes while multi-task processing is being executed. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU unit 1 comprises: a task execution part 21 which executes a plurality of tasks in parallel and also executes each task in a cycle corresponding to each task; and a mode switching part 22 for switching operation modes. The task execution part 21 is configured to execute a user program for each task in an operating mode and not to execute the user program for each task in a program mode.
