Disclosed is a wireless local area network authentication method comprising: a mobile terminal automatically acquiring an access account and an access password; and the mobile terminal automatically transmitting a WEB authentication request to a network server, the WEB authentication request having attached thereto the access account and the access password. Also disclosed is a corresponding mobile terminal. Employment of the disclosed wireless local area network authentication method and mobile terminal allows the mobile terminal to complete automatically the WEB authentication of the wireless local area network, obviates the need for a user to input the account and password, and obviates the need for the WEB authentication interface to be displayed to the user, thus avoiding complicated authentication operations, and improving user experience. |
