[Problem] To achieve, in a zoom lens, high functionality, a high variable magnification ratio, miniaturization, low cost, and excellent image acquisition. [Solution] A zoom lens (1) comprises the following, in the order given, starting from the object side: a positive first lens group (G1); a negative second lens group (G2); a positive third lens group (G3); and a positive fourth lens group (G4). When varying magnification from the wide angle to telephoto, the first lens group (G1) and the third lens group (G3) are fixed, the second lens group (G2) moves towards the image side, and the fourth lens group (G4) moves. The first lens group (G1) comprises the following, in the order given, starting from the object side: a cemented lens constituted by a negative lens (L11) and a positive lens (L12); and two positive lenses (L13), (L14). The third lens group (G3) comprises the following, in the order given, starting from the object side: a negative portion lens group (G3N) containing cemented lenses; and a positive portion lens group (G3P). A negative meniscus lens is positioned on the side of the positive portion lens group (G3P) that is closest to the image side, the concave surface of the negative meniscus lens facing the image side.
|
