The voltage supply circuit (100) has circuit arrangement provided between voltage source and electronic control unit. The circuit arrangement includes voltage regulator (20) to limit the voltage transients and predetermined voltage for the output of electronic control unit. A comparator (50) compares the voltage transients with voltage threshold and transfers the voltage regulator to a blocking state when voltage transient exceeds voltage threshold. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) system comprising voltage regulator and electronic control unit; and (2) method for controlling voltage regulator.
