<p>The device has connecting units e.g. self-stripping contacts (3), for connecting two sets of conductor reception areas of push rods (2). The push rods are movable from an open position to a closed position by rotation of the push rods about an axis parallel to a longitudinal axis of the device and by translation movement of the push rods radially to the longitudinal axis. The push rods connect the reception areas to the connecting units when the push rods are in the closed position, and disconnect the reception areas from the connecting units when the push rods are in the open position.</p> |
