PURPOSE: A corona-resistant discharge insulating paint composition is provided to improve appearance, flexibility, adhesion, etc while restraining corona discharge, thereby facilitating processing corona-resistant discharge insulating wire. CONSTITUTION: A corona-resistant discharge insulating paint composition comprises 100.0 parts by weight of a base resin selected from a group consisting of a polyesterimide resin, polyamideimide resin and polyimide resin, 3-100.0 parts by weight of tetraalkoxysilane or alkyltrialkoxy silane and 0.5-2 parts by weight of water. A molecular weight of the polyesterimide resin, polyamideimide resin and polyimide resin is 10,000-1,500,000. The tetraalkoxy silane or alkyltrialkoxy silane is used together with a silane coupling agent. |
