FIELD: food industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry. One proposes an irrigative-type apparatus for staged rotary sterilisation of preserves including a heating and a cooling chambers placed one above the other; each of the chambers is equipped with three spray devices for heating and cooling jars and three baths used for collection of water from the spray devices. The jar transfer mechanism is represented by carriers pinned to two roller-and-bush chains and ensuring mechanical clamping of the jars. Stepped pulleys ensuring adjustable rotation of the carriers with jars round their axes are installed at the ends of the carriers shafts. ^ EFFECT: apparatus ensures metal consumption reduction and operation efficiency enhancement. ^ 1 dwg
