PURPOSE: A geothermal pipe for an underground heat exchanger and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to be easily installed in a cylindrical steel structure. CONSTITUTION: A geothermal pipe(10) for an underground heat exchanger comprises a meandering heat exchange unit(11). The meandering heat exchange unit is curved corresponding to the curvature of a cylindrical pile to be closely attached to the outer side of the pile. The heat exchange unit comprises first and second arc-shaped portions(13,14) and connecting portions(15). The first and second arc shaped portions are placed by turns, and in zigzag along the length of the cylindrical pile. The first and second arc-shaped portions are connected by the connecting portions.
