PURPOSE: A data transmission method and system thereof are provided to prevent a ground system from overlappingly transmitting data to a ship system. CONSTITUTION: A ship system unit(20) transmits the collected ship data to a ground using satellite communication. The ship system unit receives the ground data from the ground using the satellite communication. A ground system unit(40) transmits the collected ground data to the ship system unit using the satellite communication. The ground system unit receives the ship data from the ship system using the satellite communication. A satellite system unit(30) connects to the wireless communication using a medium between the ship system unit and the ground system unit.
