PURPOSE: A U-bend pipe spacer for two small-diameter pipes is provided to prevent a liquid refrigerant loop and a saturated vapor refrigerant loop from being separated from a loop clip. CONSTITUTION: A U-bend pipe spacer for two small-diameter pipes comprises a pair of loop hooks(102,104), a spring(114), coupling plates(110,112), and a coupling pin. The loop hooks have loop clips for holding two refrigerant loops(132,134). The spring has spring legs(116) for connecting the loop hooks to each other. The coupling plates have pin holes integrally formed in the loop hooks. The coupling pin penetrates through the pin holes of the coupling plates.
