An automated flushing system has a receiver 10 having a receiver and an output for an actuator to flush water when a flush signal is received and a transmitter 28 having transmitter and a control means for sending flush signals. The transmitter 28 unit has a clock, and can send a flush signal after a preset period has passed since the transmitter 28 last sent a flush signal. The transmitter 28 can allow for periods when the convenience is expected to be active or inactive by lengthening the preset period to form a second period outside of a start and end period or normal or daylight hours. |
